Hand painted/ hand designed Valentine wall hanging.
This is a heart shaped styrofoam wreath, with painted Cupie figurine, roses, raspberries, and bow.
First I painted the wreath red, then I wrapped antique silver tinsel ribbon around it. Then I attached a silver chain for hanging to match the silver ribbon that's wrapped around the heart.
I then painted the Cupie figurine with red and pink, and skin tone.
I notched out a place where I could glue him into the bottom of the heart. His sign says, "Be Mine", painted in pink and red.
I affixed a velvet red ribbon that I fashioned into a big bow onto the top of the wreath.
I created a pattern from red roses and red raspberries (which are also antiques from the 50's) around the heart.
This is a gift that is sure to melt your lovers heart...
